About Us
Cindy Wright-owner, instructor
My goal is to provide individualized instruction which targets student's needs in an encouraging environment. I structure my lessons around the individual and move at a pace which allows for success while providing a challenge. I also work with parents, including those who homeschool, to help them help their children.
My experience includes
- Bachelors degree in Special Education
- Former EC Resource teacher with WSFCS
- Over 15 years experience teaching and tutoring
- Wilson Language trained
- TEACCH trained
- One on one tutoring as well content area teaching for homeschool students.
Targeted
Tutoring goals in reading writing and/or math will be based on initial screening, specific parent and student concerns, school data and other relative information provided. Pace is determined by student progress. As new needs arise they will be incorporated into the plans.
Caring and Flexible.
My goal is to build confidence by finding a balance between providing incremental challenges and allowing students to experience success. If one approach doesn't fit, materials and methods will change. The setting is also flexible. I offer both in person and online tutoring.
